Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Do you ever feel overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or unsure of who you are becoming? That in-between space can feel confusing, exhausting, and sometimes lonely.

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and start to feel more like yourself again. Together, we work on building confidence, understanding your emotions, and finding ways to feel more calm and in control.

I support teens and young adults navigating:

  • anxiety and overthinking
  • burnout and emotional overwhelm
  • low self-esteem and perfectionism
  • life transitions and identity changes

I also work with individuals who feel misunderstood or overlooked in traditional environments, including neurodiverse individuals.

My approach

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and EFT. Most importantly, I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and never judged.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Builds psychological flexibility by helping you clarify your values and commit to meaningful action, even amid difficult thoughts or feelings.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Identifies and reshapes unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Develops skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Strengthens emotional awareness and connection, helping you understand and reshape how you relate to yourself and others.

"Think of coping like an umbrella — we don't wait for the rain to stop. We find ways to weather it with tools that help us stay grounded, supported, and protected."

Professional background

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Child Psychology from Seneca College and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

My background includes working in educational and supportive settings as an educator, youth program coordinator, and grief facilitator. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of emotional development and the unique challenges individuals face at different stages of life.

Through my work with youth and young adults, I’ve seen how resilient people are, even when they feel overwhelmed or stuck. This has shaped my approach to therapy: meeting each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their individual experience. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

A little something about me

I often think of coping like using an umbrella, you can’t always stop the rain, but you can learn how to move through it with the right support. Therapy can help you build those tools so you feel more steady, confident, and able to handle what life brings.

Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me reading, watching sunsets, staying active, or planning my next trip, things that help me stay grounded and connected to myself!

I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating ADHD and emotional overwhelm. These experiences have shaped how I understand stress, identity, and self-worth, and allows me to meet you with empathy, authenticity, and without judgment. If you’ve been overthinking everything, feeling overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
