Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

BPR, MACP

Are you navigating the depths of self-discovery, the unknowns of life transitions, or the impacts of a mood disorder?  I provide a collaborative and supportive environment driven with compassion and empathy where your goals guide our work. Together, you can learn to strengthen relationships, set boundaries, and work through life's challenges with support and confidence.

Through my work I support individuals in navigating life transitions including career changes, relocation, and relationships. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or additional mood disorders we can explore the past and present to create supportive and meaningful changes. I also support members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community by providing a safe and non-judgmental space.

I approach sessions using a person-centered, trauma-informed, and attachment-based lens that is depth oriented, by using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).

My approach

I approach sessions through a person-centred, trauma-informed, and attachment-based lens that is depth-oriented — meaning we explore not just the surface of what's happening, but the roots beneath it. Throughout, your goals and pace always lead the way.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Identifies and reshapes unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to anxiety, depression, and emotional distress.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Builds psychological flexibility by helping you clarify your values and commit to meaningful action, even when difficult thoughts arise.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)

Focuses on your existing strengths and resources, working toward practical, achievable solutions rather than dwelling on problems.

"Let's ride the wave together — creating a safe space to navigate life's challenges and transitions with support and confidence."

Professional background

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

My path into psychotherapy is shaped by a diverse professional background. I worked closely with individuals in high-pressure environments, supporting decision-making and managing competing demands, and navigating periods of uncertainty and change. These experiences gave me a strong understanding of how stress, expectations and life transitions can impact mental health.

My therapeutic approach has been shaped by both my professional experiences and clinical training, where I have had the privilege to witness and be a part of individuals stories. Through these experiences, being curious and compassionate about each person’s pace, perspective and priorities was essential.

A little something about me

I am passionate about life transitions and through my own experiences of the turbulence of life, I have developed compassion and empathy for those navigating uncharted waters. The experience of becoming a military spouse has me constantly going through life transitions that can bring a meaningful and understanding perspective to sessions. Let’s ride the wave together.

Together we can create a safe space to navigate life’s challenges and transitions with support and confidence. As your therapist, we’ll move at your own pace by exploring your life with care and curiosity. You will experience a collaborative and empathetic space where your goals guide our work.
