Life can be challenging. Navigating the intersecting roles that we play as individuals can sometimes blur our vision and in the fog, we can lose sight of strengths. I aim to help you cultivate the resilience and strength you hold within, to overcome the challenges that life may bring.
I take a non-judgmental, holistic person-centered approach that honours your uniqueness on our therapeutic journey. My role is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours without fear of criticism or judgment, and help empower you on your journey to self-discovery and growth.
It takes courage to seek counseling and I commend you for taking this important step towards self-discovery and healing.
Whether you are seeking therapy for relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply a desire for personal growth, know that you are not alone.
Let’s collaborate on the journey towards enhancing your self-awareness and uncovering your strengths. My goal is to support you on your path to self-actualization, so that you can walk away with a greater sense of meaning and purpose.
My approach
I take a non-judgmental, holistic, and person-centred approach that honours your uniqueness throughout our therapeutic journey. My role is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours — without fear of criticism or judgment.
Person-Centred
You are the expert on your own life. Therapy moves at your pace, shaped entirely by your goals and what feels right for you.
Trauma-Informed
Every experience is held with care. I approach difficult histories with sensitivity, safety, and deep respect for your journey.
Strengths-Based
Rather than focusing on what's "wrong," we uncover the resilience and capabilities you already carry — and build from there.
Anti-Oppressive
A safe and welcoming space for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, gender, or lived experience.
Together, let’s plant the seeds to help you flourish, so that you can nurture your wellness goals and create an emotional garden for you to grow.
"My goal is to support you on your path to self-actualization, so that you can walk away with a greater sense of meaning and purpose."
Professional background
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO). I have an Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Concentration in Criminology from Brock University and a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
My professional background consists of working with young adults who have phased out of foster care, in helping them transition into independent living. In this role, I have had the privilege of walking alongside trauma survivors in their healing journey.
My therapeutic approach has developed alongside my role as a support worker, where I have had the opportunity to develop individual relationships with each client that I have worked with. It is in these interpersonal relationships that I have come to understand that each person has their own unique way of navigating life’s challenges, and my helping approach should meet the needs of the individual.

A little something about me
I am passionate about helping others and I found that my lifelong passion of helping was enhanced when I entered my role of motherhood. I have two young children, who have been my beacon through my personal goals and in my professional development. Embracing motherhood has been a transformative opportunity for growth, where each day is a new opportunity for learning. I have become more patient, empathetic, and compassionate, amid fostering a loving and nurturing environment for my children. Like you, I am human, and it is in this human experience of motherhood that I have expanded my passions for nurturing the mind, body, and soul.
As a mixed-racial visible minority woman, I have had my own unique challenges finding my place within this complex world. The challenges I have overcome and continue to face have enhanced my cultural awareness and has stimulated my interest in taking a resilience and strength-based approach to understanding the complexities of multicultural issues. Based on my cultural background, I have been particularly invested in taking a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, or gender.
